As the official marketing organization for New York City, NYC & Company develops a wide array of marketing initiatives and platforms that support and promote the City. These can be customized to suit a company’s specific business objectives while reaching target consumers in fresh ways.
Programs include the following:
NYC Restaurant Week™ Summer/Winter:
NYC Restaurant Week—the world's original Restaurant Week—stands apart as one of the City's most celebrated and anticipated events, highlighting a diverse range of cuisines and restaurants offering consumers high-end dining experiences at affordable prices. Winter 2012 marks the 20th anniversary of NYC Restaurant Week and includes many of the City's top restaurants.
Fashion's Night Out:
In 2009, Vogue magazine joined with NYC & Company, the City of New York and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to create Fashion's Night Out (FNO), now an annual, global initiative to promote retail and celebrate fashion. New York City stores across all five boroughs participate by staying open late on the first night of September Fashion Week and feature an array of in-store celebrations and promotions. In 2011, a record-breaking 1,225 FNO stores participated in the campaign.
NYC Mayor's Cup™:
With the 2011 brand relaunch, NYC & Company introduced a bold new identity for the NYC Mayor's Cup based around the slogan of "Best in the City." The newly branded series features 12 events throughout the year where student athletes from all five boroughs battle it out for bragging rights. NYC Mayor's Cup is the only series in New York City where athletes from public, Catholic and independent schools compete against each other. The goal of the program is to make athletes feel like they're a part of something special.
The Signature Collection Third Night™:
A luxury promotion bringing together some of the City’s leading luxury hotels with exclusive VIP shopping experiences and a free third night when guests book two consecutive nights.
