NYC & COMPANY LAUNCHES THIRD NIGHT PROMOTION WITH 20 SIGNATURE COLLECTION LUXURY HOTELS THIS WINTER

New York City (December 6, 2011)NYC & Company, the official marketing, tourism and partnership organization for the City of New York, today announced that all 20 hotels in The Signature Collection, a group of New York City's luxury hotels, will participate in The Signature Collection Third Night™ promotion this winter. The program gives visitors a complimentary Third Night at participating hotels after they book and pay for two consecutive nights between January 2 and February 29, 2012. In addition, NYC & Company also announced that, for the first time ever, Third Night customers will receive a special Key to Madison Avenue card, providing access to special offers from the luxury retail district on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The 20 hotels—all part of The Signature Collection—participating in this winter’s Third Night program are: The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel; The Chatwal New York; Hôtel Plaza Athénée New York; Jumeirah Essex House; Loews Regency Hotel; The London NYC; Mandarin Oriental, New York; The New York Palace; The Peninsula New York; The Pierre New York; The Plaza Hotel; The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park; The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park; The Setai Fifth Avenue; The Sherry-Netherland; The St. Regis New York; The Surrey; Trump International Hotel & Tower New York; Trump SoHo New York; and The Waldorf Towers.

An added bonus of booking a stay at a hotel within The Signature Collection this winter is the Key to Madison Avenue card, which provides exclusive access to more than 70 special offers on everything from boutiques and spas to restaurants and art galleries.  Offers include VIP services, complimentary gifts, private shopping and more. Visitors who check in as a Third Night guest will receive one Key to Madison Avenue card per room at check-in.

The Signature Collection program was initiated in 2001 through the efforts of NYC & Company and typically is a biannual promotion, taking place during the winter months of January and February and the summer months of July and August.
