NYC RESTAURANT WEEK WINTER 2009 EXTENDED THROUGH FEBRUARY 27
More than 150 of the City’s Top Restaurants Continue Promotion with Three-Course Prix-Fixe Lunches and Dinners
New York City (January 30, 2009) NYC & Company, New York City’s marketing, tourism and partnership organization, announced that NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2009 will extend through February 27. The promotion will continue at more than 150 participating restaurants, some including Sundays. Prices for the program will remain the same, with three-course prix-fixe lunches for $24.07 and three-course prix-fixe dinners for $35.00 (excluding beverage, tax and gratuity). “NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2009 was the City’s largest-ever Restaurant Week with more than 250 participating restaurants,” said NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta. “The extension opportunity has attracted more than half of the participants to remain on board through February 27, a sign of the just how well-received Restaurant Week has been among NYC diners.”
Some restaurants will now also offer value-added items to customers have such as Serafina at Time Hotel, which offers two complimentary glasses of wine with each prix-fixe meal.
Now in its 18th year, NYC Restaurant Week brings together some of the City’s most celebrated, time-honored fine dining establishments— including '21' Club, Le Cirque, and The Cub Room— with some of the City’s most contemporary and sought-after hot-spots— including Fig & Olive, Nobu, Blue Smoke, Blue Fin and Tribeca Grill. Notable newcomers this year include Center Cut, The Palm Tribeca and Dovetail.
