New York City Announces Special Holiday Sale of Officially Licensed Merchandise
City Businesses Prepare to Welcome Visitors and Couples with Special Offers and Promotions
NEW YORK, NY (November 21, 2007) As the holiday season approaches, New Yorkers and those who love New York City can now take a piece of the destination home. NYC & Company, the City’s marketing and tourism organization, is inviting holiday shoppers to buy authentic New York City merchandise through the City’s official shop, nycshop.com. Those looking for a bargain can also take advantage of a 20% discount on all merchandise now through November 28 using the promotional code “CNYGREET.”

New York City recently unveiled the new logo and package of exterior stickers for its fleet of almost 13,000 licensed taxicabs. The City’s official shop now offers products, such as T-shirts and toy sets, that reflect the new taxicab branding.
The shop is also now offering some of the specialty posters associated with This is New York City™, the first multimedia global communications campaign to promote the City. The posters highlight different facets of City life, including dining, entertainment and fashion.
