NEW YORK CITY TOURISM + CONVENTIONS APPOINTS KIM WRIGHT AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MEMBERSHIP

New York City (March 29, 2024) – New York City Tourism + Conventions is proud to welcome Kim Wright to the Senior Leadership team, as Senior Vice President, Membership. In her role, she will oversee membership sales and services as she helps the organization to maximize engagement and investment for its nearly 2,000 members and delegates. Wright will report to Kelly Curtin, New York City Tourism + Conventions Executive Vice President, Membership & Destination Services.

Kim has more than two decades of tourism experience in an array of areas including product development, ticketing, operations, partnerships and revenue management. Prior to joining New York City Tourism + Conventions, Kim was Vice President of Experiences, Development & Partnerships at the Hornblower Group. She also notably served as Senior Vice President of Revenue & Business Analytics for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, where she played a foundational role as one of the team members assisting with the museum’s opening. Kim also held positions managing the Sales & Tourism department of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, and guiding the team at Circle Line-Statue of Liberty Ferry.

New York City’s economic recovery continued in 2023 with approximately 62.2 million travelers arriving in New York City, generating $74 billion in economic impact across the five boroughs. An estimated 64.8 million travelers will visit New York City by the end of 2024.
