NYC OFF-BROADWAY WEEK RETURNS FOR THE FALL OFFERING 2-FOR-1 TICKETS

New York City (September 19, 2023) — New York City Tourism + Conventions, New York City’s official destination marketing organization and convention and visitors bureau today announced the return of NYC Off-Broadway WeekSM, presented by Mastercard®, with the start of 2-for-1 ticket sales to 31 Off-Broadway shows, at nyctourism.com/offbroadwayweek. The biannual program, now in its 14th year, will run October 3–15, 2023. 

“We’re excited to invite New Yorkers and visitors to once again immerse themselves in the intimate setting of an Off-Broadway Week production,” said New York City Tourism + Conventions President and CEO Fred Dixon. “Off-Broadway has long been home to some of the City’s most groundbreaking theater, and we’re proud to continue our partnership with The Off-Broadway League to offer this program that makes the Off-Broadway experience more accessible.”  Participating shows in NYC Off-Broadway Week Fall 2023 include:

The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment has partnered with New York City Tourism + Conventions as a sponsor of NYC Off-Broadway Week. 

Since its launch in 2009, over 600 Off-Broadway productions have participated in NYC Off-Broadway Week. The program has also generated over $4 million in revenue through sales; over 100,000 tickets have been sold.

New York City’s welcomed over 56 million travelers in 2022, which marks a return of 85% of the City’s record 66.6 million visitors in 2019. The City remains on track to welcome 63.2 million visitors in 2023.

The Off-Broadway League was founded in 1959 to foster theatrical productions produced in Off-Broadway theatres (productions in Manhattan in venues with 100–499 seats), to assist in the voluntary exchange of information among its members, and to serve as a collective voice of its membership in pursuit of these goals.
